New Dashboard Widgets
At Hitachi as one of the main projects we had to design a new Work and Assets Dashboard a library of new widgets and smart data-grids. Expandable widgets allow users to view more detailed information within the widget without taking up too much space on the dashboard. When a user clicks on the expandable widget, it expands to reveal more information or options. This can help streamline the user's workflow and increase efficiency and accessibility.
Next step was designing a new Asset Investment Planning domain, to make it easy for users to browse and search for relevant studies and organise sub projects sequences. Find key information about each project in the library, tracking progress, and collaborating with team members.
A Studies tab represents a categorised search catalog to help users find specific studies based on keywords or status. Actions like editing, deleting, and run is available to manage the studies. Status badges can indicate the stage of the study, such as completed, in progress, failed or on queued.
New Studies Catalog
Project tab a split screen layout projects catalog with drag and drop functionality. On the left side of the split layout, the project catalog can be organized into categories or folders to help users easily browse and find relevant projects. Users can also search for specific projects using a search bar or filter options.
On the right side of the split layout, project details with project options and dependencies. Users can add optimisation projects together or delete them and as needed, and the system can save and update the changes.

Sub project are organised (using drag and drop functionality) into a main project sequences with following options, mutually excluded, necessary, after, simultaneously.
Status badges for main projects and sub-projects sequences can help users quickly and easily understand the current status of their projects.
Next tab is Asset Investment Planning set up, we introduced our newly designed KPI widgets and smart data tables. “Set Up” tab represents an interactive dashboard including Focus Areas Charts and KPI’s with ability to add and remove business tasks and track project portfolio performance. And also an interactive Budget sub tab with ability to add and remove business tasks into a budget.
